I am 14 and I love to ride bikes but I have no flat place to ride and the bike I ride isn't good on hills ( I live in the mountains ). I want a somewhat good bike for cheap . Please give me any helpful links or anything thanks.

There are several things to take into consideration before buying a bike. The bikes recommended in the other answers are all good suggestions but before you buy, consider the following points. Most importantly, however (and I can’t emphasize this enough), find a local bike shop that retails main-stream brands; stay away from Target, Wal-Mart, Academy, the big-box stores; they won’t be there when you need service and for the most part, their bikes are not going to hold up to any amount of mountain riding (they even have warning stickers on them telling you this).
1. Determine your budget. There are options out there for all disciplines (XC, All-mountain, downhill) to fit most budgets. However, you will get the most bang for your buck buying a true XC (cross-country) bike. You aren’t going to get the travel you would if you bought a downhill or all-mountain but you might not need it.
2. Determine your riding style (really goes hand-in-hand with question #1). XC, All-Mountain, or Downhill. If you live in a really mountainous region, then all-mountain or downhill might be the correct choice but maybe not. Again, XC bikes are generally cheaper but might not be the right choice.
3. Determine your size. This can be done at any local bike shop and this will make or break your riding experience. This is really important…don’t let any one tell you different. Also, since you are only 14, you might not be finished growing and choosing the correct size might mean the difference in lots of money over the next 4 years.
4. Determine the brand you want. Again, a local bike shop can help with this. When doing this, don’t let the media skew your decision. There are several bike brands out there that don’t get the media attention that Trek, Specialized, and Giant do that are great choices. One brand that is really overlooked is Jamis (www.jamisbikes.com). They build some serious bikes with great componentry but they don’t have the advertising budgets that some of the bigger names have and can convey that into savings to the consumer.
5. Last but certainly not least, choose a bike shop that you can build a relationship with. This might sound funny but trust me, you will need them in the future for service. There are lots of bike-related items that you can order from several places on-line (www.jensonusa.com, http://www.performancebike.com) but I don’t recommend purchasing a bike on-line.
Also, you might consider finding a used bike. All the same above still apply. Some bike shops are even selling used bikes. This requires even more research. For a first bike, I never recommend a used bike unless you really know your stuff. Try to find the money to buy new.
I have been riding most of my life (I’m 36) and I’ve seen a lot of good things and bad things out there. Do your research. Don’t let your money burn a hole in your pocket. Take your time and make your dollars count; they’re too hard to come by today.
Good luck and happy riding.
Why do you want a mountain bike when you live in the mountains? Don’t you know that mountain bikes are for riding along municipal bike paths and suburban sidewalks?
Seriously, a Trek 4300 or Specialized Hardrock would be about as cheap as you could get for a new, decent mtb. Jamis and KHS offer more bang for the buck, and there are others.
For used bikes, do your research, know what you want, and keep your eyes peeled on craiglist and the local paper. You can even put a free wanted ad on craigslist and see what comes up. Some people have luck at thrift stores, but everything I’ve seen has been a lousy buy. People are selling items themselves more today, rather than donating them outright, due to the bad economy.
as everyone has said, the specialized hardrock is a safe buy and not too expensive.
i would also recommend the diamondback response, i have one thats 4 years old and still rides well. its around the same price as a hardrock so its fairly cheap, a great MTB
happy hunting
i have a specialized hardrock it is a very good mountain bike and i got it for only 350
Walmart or Target. If you have more money to spend then a place like Sports Authority.
Do the bath thing or find a larger body of water like a pool. Its the best way to find an air leak.
I am looking for some hard rock music to use as the soundtrack for youtube videos. Where can I find …
I don't think there is a way to set it up on your own. The internet fax services basically make it as easy as possible and they are really inexpensive as well. Check out a review on the best online fax services at:
I've been using RingCentral for over a year and it works great for me and I save tons of money compared to when I was using a fax machine! Plus the best online fax services let you try out their service FREE for an entire month! Hope this info helps

Air has mass (weight). The more air above you the more mass (weight) there is pushing down – air pressure. As you get higher there is less air above you and so less pressure. Because there's less pressure the air expands (it becomes rarified). Because the air expands the heat it contains is spread out further and it cools down – about 1 degree Celsius for every 150 metres ascended (2 degrees F per 500 feet).
So far so good?
The warmer air is the more moisture it can contain. When air reaches the point at which it can contain no more moisture it's described as being Saturated (Saturation Vapor Pressure). Excess moisture has to be offloaded – inside you'd see this as condensation on windows, mirors etc, outside you'd see it as dew or frost. Up in the air the excess vapor forms water droplets which fall as precipitation.
Mountains act as a barrier, squashing the air mass as it's forced upwards. More water vapor is being squashed into each unit of air so making it more likely to become saturated and at the same time the air is cooling so it can contain less vapor anyway.
So it's a combination of cooling and compressing that causes the precipitation on the summits and windward sides of mountains.
Once the air passes over the summits it contains less water vapor, can expand again and warm up as it descends back down to lower levels.
I find the PDF on my hard drive so much better than a PDF in the cloud, _streets_ better than a paper copy on the office floor, and a country mile better than paper in the library. I’m with Spotlight changed the world for me, and Mendeley, for all its (grrrrr) faults is really useful. My own copies of papers I’m interested in, where and when I want them? That’ll be great, thanks.
Cool!
Nothing like people voting with their blogs. HSUS is a scam among scams – and unwittingly gets sponsors. When the sponsors find out, they leave even faster than they signed up. Unless they’re scammers themselves…

not too familiar with the piano and all its components but i do know a few good softwares you can try out….Audacity is my favorite (mostly because i took the time to learn all of it – which is key) and Mix Craft…..Audacity was a little hard to pick up on but easy once you learn it, and Mix Craft is pretty easy to learn
I check out the travel websites and then pick the airline that offers the lowest fare and book my ticket on the airline's web page. Sometimes airlines run specials that the travel websites do not have. Airlines want you to book with them because every time you buy a ticket on the travel web page, the airline has to pay the travel website a commission.

Check out the rugs at Target.com. Here is one that combines both brown and green that you might like:
Target.com also lets you view rugs by price, color, size, etc.
You should also check out discount chains like Marshalls, TJ Maxx and Ross, which are great places to find inexpensive rugs.
I personally prefer Sugar Mountain. Beech (not Beach) tends to be much more crowded. Both places have a lot of things to do and are also near Banner Elk, Boone, etc. for good restaurants, etc. I don't think you could go wrong at either place but probably have less waiting hassles in Sugar.
Good luck and have fun!!
