for less than $250…you must go with used stuff to get anything of quality. try craigslist, or ebay–but know what you’re looking for, or get a friend to help you, because there’s ton’s of junk for sale on those sites too.
department store/wal mart bikes are a poor choice…and 90% of the time, improperly assembled.
Nothing that isn’t second hand or garbage I’m afraid.
Stretch to $400 or $500 and you will get a much longer lasting bike that’s worth the money.
Giant is good value for money if you’re in Australia. Some other good brands are Specialised, Santa Cruz and Norco.

Highlands, Cashiers, Sapphire Valley NC – Snow and Ice ! Another good winter storm for WNC!
Untreated plywood would be the way to go
Put a small screen, like a window screen. to keep them from chewing on the wood down then the bedding on top. I wouldn't use ANY cedar bedding ever! Pine, newspaper ( tho I would worry about the chemicals in the ink), or hay/straw are great for pigs.
No matter what you put they are going to chew and your going to have to replace the wood in short order.. next to a beaver pigs can chew wood with the best of them! Actually I've kept them in cardboard boxes they could easily climb out of only to have them chew a hole and escape.. silly critter rather chew than climb!
Here's a great link with plans for varous cages and instructions…
good luck!
jedwood done a cover of this…thought it was catchy and started to think they were good….then remembered who the real stars were! man queen are legends!
best you can do is
2 locks, disassemble the bike
cable lock and U lock
[b/c thieves don;t usually carry bolt cutters AND cable cutters]
take the front wheel off
put it next to the back [or carry it with you]
now put the cable and U through the frame AND the back wheel to something solid
[back wheel is single most expensive component]
wle.
Normally I would tell a person NOT to be buried under too many posessions; however, you can never have too many bikes, as long as you are riding them (not collecting them and bragging about it).

“Under the plan – drawn up by Col. Yossi Sagiv, head of the Home Front Command’s Gas Mask and Protection Kits Department – the masks will be returned to private homes by the Israel Postal Company, which beat out seven other companies in a Defense Ministry-issued tender in late 2009. Gas masks were collected from private homes starting in 2007 by a private delivery company.
The distribution is slated to take three years. Officials said that after the distribution is completed in Or Yehuda, the IDF will review the operation, implement corrections and improvements and then start distributing the kits in other parts of the country, based on operational considerations of which area is under a more immediate threat.”
Filed under: Hiking, North America, United States, Camping A 44-year old Minnesota man named Mike Hanson will set out tomorrow to hike the entire length of the Appalachian Trail, which is of course always a major undertaking for any hiker. But in Hanson’s case, it is an even more formidable challenge considering he has been blind since birth, and will navigate all 2174 miles of the AT through the use of a GPS device. The Appalachian Trail is considered one of the true classic long distance treks by backpackers the world over. Running from Maine to Georgia, while crossing through New Hampshire, Vermont, and a dozen other states, the Trail offers everything from steep mountain passes to beautiful open meadows and gorgeous alpine valleys, complete with rushing rivers. By all accounts, it is an amazingly scenic hike from end-to-end. Of course, none of that will matter to Mike, who won’t see any of those backcountry vistas while he makes the hike. Hanson will use a special GPS device that…
This has been happening for some time now, Yahoo are working on it they say but for now try this.Recommended fixes for the many current problems include Update Adobe Flash Player Internet Explorer and Java script . Clear Explorer cache, cookies, and browsing history. Some find that a return to classic mail improves things. You could also try an alternative browser. Hope this helps
You’re welcome and yeah it was. I read that story in the “letters to the editor” section of the paper the morning after his death and was deeply touched. What a wonderful thing to do. I does kind of make you wonder if any other artist would do that kind of thing. I’d like to think that they would.

Hi Lily!
Generally you need a Bachelor of Education degree (B Ed). Sometimes, depending on the subjects you want to teach, you can combine it with a three-year BA (Bachelor of Arts) and then a one-year B Ed. add-on. Check with universities near you. They will direct you. Then, if you are in the US and want to teach in a regular school, you will need a state teaching license. You can apply for this once you have your B Ed.
All the best!
Robert
As expected, Adobe Systems did indeed release a new Lightroom beta on Monday, but there are a few extra tibits beyond what we suspected earlier. First and most important, there’s now a Lightroom 3 beta 2 download site so you can actually try it. Second, there’s a helpful video guide to new features, forum discussion on the new beta, and release notes (PDF). Also worth a look are a blog post by Lightroom product manager Tom Hogarty and a detailed, annotated list of changes from “Lightroom Queen” Victoria Bampton. The Lightroom 3 beta will look familiar to current users, but there are changes under the hood. In addition, Lightroom catalogs can be synchronized with Flickr. (Credit: Adobe Systems) Regarding features, we knew about three big ones: support for ingestion and management of video, support for “tethered” shooting so a computer controls the camera and automatically ingests photos as they’re taken, a revamped import dialog box, faster image loading, and more noise reduction…
